Cranberry-Cinnamon-Vanilla Simple Syrup Recipe:
1 bag of cranberries
1 c sugar
2 c water
2 cinnamon sticks
Paste of one vanilla bean
- In a pot, dissolve sugar and water. Add berries, cinnamon, and vanilla. Cook until berries begin to burst, stirring occasionally.
- Once berries begin to burst, remove from heat and let steep (about 10 minutes)
- Double strain into a measuring cup and transfer to an airtight container (I use canning jars)
Syrup should keep in a refrigerator for 7-10 days
