Recipe : Sparkling Cranberry Brie Bite

Cranberry sauce is a Thanksgiving tradition for most, but how about we think outside of the box this holiday season! 


1 Carr's water cracker
1/2 ounce of cranberry chutney
1 small slice of Brie
3 cranberries*

4 cups of cranberries
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of water
2 tsp of cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp of ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp of allspice
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar


Add the cranberry chutney first, then the Brie slice, followed by the cranberries. Repeat for as many cracker bites as you'd like. 

*Coat in simple syrup (1/4 cup of water + 1/4 cup of sugar) & toss in white sugar

FOR THE CHUTNEY:  Combine all ingredients in a large pot and simmer for 20 minutes (cranberries will begin to burst open). Thicken with white wash (1:4 ratio of flour to water).
