Venue Event Manager


Our team is seeking a venue Event Manager for The Fives location with additional offsite leadership opportunities. The position will focus on owning the day-to-day tasks needed to set the space for a successful event and be an ambassador for the company with all clients. This candidate is friendly and enthusiastic, with a “can do” attitude, is customer service driven, and detail oriented. They must be organized, quick on their feet and a high-performance decision maker. A true problem solver in any moment. The most successful Event Manager approaches each moment with a sense of urgency and recognizes how to be resourceful with the tools and people they have in front of them.

This person works directly with the Venue Manager, collaborating and communication with all other departments, sharing details to execute the event to meet our standards and the guests expectations. The Venue Event Manager must be passionate about our company and the work they do. Your feeling of accomplishment will come through being present at almost every stage of the client’s special day; from owning private tours of the space and vendor set up to being the liaison for the client during their event. The primary job of the Venue Event Manager includes but is not limited to:

•       Schedule and run final venue walkthrough with client

•       Schedule and conduct ceremony rehearsals

•       Communicate with client’s vendors prior to event

•       Conduct Venue Open Houses and weekly tours

•       Coordinate client décor drop off/pick up

•       Assist with on-site décor set-up day of the event

•       Attend appropriate meetings

•       Expedite service as needed

•       Maintain client satisfaction throughout the event

•       Communicate event needs on-site to the Event Supervisor

•       Maintain client satisfaction throughout the event

•       Schedule weekly open tour times for sales team

•       Communicate concerns or needs, bringing solutions to the table as issues arise

•       Track and organize accuracy, timeliness and quality of products/services

•       Shares in-person and light administrative duties with Venue Manager

•       Operationalizes our company values

•       Understanding and execution of floor plans


•       Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume and/or high-end catering

•       High School diploma or equivalent

•       Ability to lift 50 lbs and kneel, stoop or stand for 8-12 hours at a time

•       Flexible hours, must be able to work evenings & weekends

•       Superior verbal and written communication skills

•       Insurable Driving record


•       Degree or coursework in hospitality

•       Serv Safe Certified

•       Stable work history

•       Multi-lingual
