The primary job of the Catering Operations Lead is to collaborate with our team to support the Operations Manager and the Operations department.
This includes but is not limited to:
· Expediting food, beverages, and equipment in a timely and accurate manner
· Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all items leaving the building
· Supervision of in-house Operations and Facilities team members and execution of daily planning
· Management of Operations Associate’s daily task list; delegating tasks, assigning duties, and ensuring completion of daily opening/closing checklists
· Managing daily delivery and vans schedule
· Processing updates/revisions to Function Sheets of all events, deliveries, and pick ups
· Coordinate all trucks/van deliveries and orchestrate movement of supplies/food across all Petro Hospitality brands
· Review daily operational pull sheets and check for accuracy before loading supplies/food for transport
· Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all items leaving the building
· Load all supplies/food in the van according to the delivery schedule
· Help with medium/large catering order set up as needed
· Assist Operations department with moving and putting away items as needed
· Transport Fives catering items and equipment to identified locations
· Checking in and ensuring accuracy of weekly equipment rentals
· Management of vehicles
· Management of department organization and cleanliness
· Actively working alongside team members to complete deliveries, equipment and beverage pulls, and dry sets
· Management of monthly department inventory including; disposable products, equipment, beverages, and department supplies
· Assist Operations Manager in facilitating training of new in-house Operations and Dish team members
· Completion of daily Shift Pass down
· Provide regular, quality feedback to Logistics Manager about individual performance within the team to contribute to developmental and training opportunities
