Catering Events Chef

We are looking for experienced chefs who want part time flexible work putting out beautiful events.

Off premise catering requires a Special Events Chef who can problem solve, create order from chaos and innovate on the spot.  The best candidate for this position can take direction from detailed functions sheets and event supervisors and determine the best process for the location, client and product. This includes but is not limited to:

·         Takes the culinary lead on off premise events with a main focus on hot and cold menu management

·         Recognized leader for all kitchen related initiatives from leading staff to in the moment service, BOH layout, and pre-event planning in accordance with timeline and standards of the company.

·         Owns assigned pieces of each event from start to finish and reports to the BOH event supervisor.

·         Responsible for set up and break down of on and off-premises events

·         Works closely with BOH and FOH supervisors on executing overall vision of service with a sense of urgency, efficiency and overall team player

·         Expert in field kitchen layout and understanding of using necessary equipment based on event.

·         Strong decision making skills

·         High level of organization aptitude


·         1-3 years of off-premise catering experience or demonstrable mastery

·         Serve Safe certified and demonstrable knowledge of field handling food safety

·         Must be flexible willing to work part time long days, nights, weekends, and holidays

·         Banquet and ala carte presentation skills

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

·         Valid driver’s license or reliable means of transportation
